Prior to joining the firm full time, Lyric was a summer associate with Barnes & Thornburg, where she assisted with research for intellectual property and litigation matters. She also was a student attorney at the Boston University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Innovation Law Clinic, where she assisted clients with intellectual property disputes, patent filings, and cybersecurity and artificial intelligence matters.
Lyric gained additional experience during law school as a tutor, teaching assistant, research assistant and contributing author. On top of her regular coursework, she also completed a concentration in intellectual property and technology law with honors.
While completing her undergraduate degree, Lyric worked as an independent data analyst consultant. She provided a variety of demographic analysis services and used a program in Python for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Lyric is not regularly admitted to practice in the local courts of California.
