Her practice focuses on developing practical, business-oriented solutions that address compliance, litigation exposure, and global data governance.

Data Privacy & Cybersecurity

Lyric develops and executes global data privacy and cybersecurity strategies. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), she advises on privacy litigation and regulatory risk, including government surveillance and national security considerations, as well as broader enforcement trends affecting data use. Her work includes counseling on compliance obligations, privacy-by-design, incident preparedness, and broader privacy risk management. She also supports clients in preparing for and responding to data breaches, helping to mitigate legal, regulatory, and operational risk.

Web Tracking Technologies

Lyric has significant experience advising on tracking technologies, including governance, compliance, and risk mitigation. She regularly counsels clients on website disclosures and litigation risk, including claims under statutes such as CIPA and ECPA. She also leads tracking technology audits to help clients assess and address potential exposure.

International Data Transfers

Lyric guides clients through the complexities of international data transfer compliance, helping them navigate evolving global privacy frameworks and implement practical, scalable solutions.

Intellectual Property

In addition to her privacy and cybersecurity work, Lyric maintains trademark and copyright portfolios for clients, advising on protection, prosecution, and enforcement strategies. She helps develop and execute global strategies for creating, protecting, and enforcing intellectual property assets, including trademarks, copyrights, domain names, and unique digital assets.

Additional Experience

Prior to joining the firm full-time, Lyric was a summer associate with Barnes & Thornburg, where she supported intellectual property litigation matters. She also served as a student attorney with the Boston University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Innovation Law Clinic, assisting clients with intellectual property disputes, cybersecurity strategy, and artificial intelligence matters. During law school, Lyric gained additional experience as a tutor, teaching assistant, research assistant, and contributing author. She completed a concentration in intellectual property and technology law with honors.
