With more than 30 years of commercial litigation experience, Lynda thinks like a businessperson first. She understands every facet of her clients’ businesses and grounds her legal strategy in that knowledge — because protracted coverage litigation can be expensive, disruptive, and reputationally sensitive. Leveraging deep relationships across the insurance industry, including with brokers, defense counsel, and major insurers, she pursues efficient, early resolution wherever possible.
When litigation is necessary, Lynda brings proven trial and appellate experience and a strategy built for exerting maximum leverage to secure results. Her work begins with a rigorous early assessment of the coverage issues and a focused plan to reach resolution with minimal disruption to her clients’ operations. She develops strategies to win while avoiding the distractions and delays that can undermine a client’s position.
Clients of Lynda’s are sophisticated companies that face complex, high-exposure claims, and they rely on her not just to evaluate coverage positions and challenge insurer decisions, but to drive their claims from first notice through final resolution with the strategic discipline that consistently produces results.
Lynda is a recognized authority in reps and warranties insurance market, maintaining a deep network of RWI market relationships that she deploys to support deal teams when coverage questions arise during diligence, negotiations, and post-closing. Beyond litigated matters, she serves as a trusted advisor to clients on the full range of insurance issues that arise in the ordinary course of business, from contractual insurance requirements and program assessment to new product evaluation and risk management strategy. She works closely with transactional lawyers to advise strategic acquirers and private equity funds on coverage issues in acquisition and investment transactions, bringing the same rigor to deal-side insurance work that she brings to the courtroom.
Lynda is deeply committed to advancing the role of women in the legal profession. She was the founder of the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) at her former firm, which she built from the ground up and led for 11 years. What began with a founding vision — to empower women to achieve professional and personal success, and to create an environment of connection, trust, and mutual support — grew into a thriving community that opened real opportunities for women to grow, lead, and advance.
Also, Lynda was a founding member of the efforts to revitalize the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA) in 2006, an affinity group that has now grown to more than 1,000 members. She was the NJWLA’s third president and remains a visible leader within that organization. More broadly, Lynda takes great pride in continuing to champion mentorship, networking, and business development for attorneys at all stages of their careers.
