- Represented a construction company in litigation seeking insurance coverage under fiduciary liability and employee benefits policies, for claim arising out of controller's mishandling of employee benefit enrollments; obtained 9th Circuit reversal in favor of the insured, finding that policies broad enough to trigger coverage
- Represented various mortgage lenders in RMBS loan repurchase and indemnification claims in the ResCap and Lehman Bros. bankruptcies, and obtained summary judgment capping the bankruptcy estates' damages claims
