Lia Maria Folgora

Associate
Lia Maria Folgora focuses her practice on mass tort, toxic tort, and product liability litigation. She brings an unusually deep foundation to her work as she spent more than a decade as a paralegal in civil litigation and trial practice prior to becoming an attorney. In that role, she developed hands-on experience across a broad range of matters, including personal injury and wrongful death litigation, plaintiff-side childhood sexual abuse cases, insurance defense, and commercial litigation. That background gives her a practical, case-ready perspective that she applies across all phases of litigation.

Lia’s litigation experience extends beyond mass and toxic torts to include environmental matters, federal Indian law, estate and probate, property, maritime, and employment disputes. During law school, she authored a publication on federal health care obligations to Native American communities, reflecting a long-standing interest in the intersection of law, policy, and underserved populations. She was also a member of the editorial board of the Seattle Journal for Social Justice.
