Larry has more than two decades of experience representing companies and individuals in commercial transactions and real estate matters. He has negotiated and closed a wide range of deals, including real estate purchases, sales, financings and related construction agreements; leases; telecommunications access agreements; studio facility-use agreements; software license agreements; asset purchase agreements; and supply chain agreements. Larry also represents select high net worth clients by advising them on personal legal matters.
Of particular note, Larry handled the majority of the legal work for a major client’s acquisition, development and financing of a corporate headquarters campus that has grown to approximately 2 million square feet of completed office space. He has also assisted other clients in the sale, purchase and/or refinancing of more than $100 million of multifamily residential housing properties.
In addition, Larry works with Atlanta-area motion picture and television studios on issues pertaining to the use of their facilities by major studios and networks. Larry was instrumental in helping to grow the firm’s practice representing sound stages in the Atlanta area, where he advises on their license agreements, tenant policies, vendor agreements and service provider agreements.
Prior to his legal career, Larry worked for E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company for more than a decade in a number of technical, operational and financial roles, including nuclear reactor control room supervisor and comptroller for a nylon intermediates business unit with an annual capital and operating budget of more than $150 million. Larry’s real-world business and corporate experience help give him practical insight into the issues and priorities facing his clients.
