Lauren focuses her work on discovery, research and preparing pleadings and motions for state and federal court proceedings. She works closely with clients to understand the case and their needs, and aims to put them in the best position to successfully resolve the dispute.
Working with manufacturers in the home appliances and consumer products industries, Lauren defends clients in products liability defense in both state and federal courts and assists in the negotiation and execution of settlements. In addition, Lauren serves as a legal hold adviser for a Fortune 50 company.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren was in private practice at an Indianapolis-based law firm and was an in-house attorney with a document review company. She has experience arguing oral motions and discovery disputes, taking and defending depositions, and negotiating settlements on behalf of her clients. She has also assisted with resolving matters through creative settlement solutions and offering arguments at hearings.
Lauren gained experience through an externship in enforcement with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), where she drafted allegations against member universities and attended enforcement hearings.
Devoted to raising awareness of and making a difference in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion, Lauren was president of the Feminist Law Society and was involved in the Women’s Caucus during law school.
