Laura Cavacini is a paralegal in the Government Services & Finance Department’s Public Finance Group. With more than 35 years of public finance experience, she leads the preparation of loan and closing documents, certificates, and opinions, and regularly coordinates due diligence, closings, related filings, and post-closing activities.
Laura’s experience spans tax-exempt and taxable bond financings in roles including bond counsel to municipalities, school districts, and authorities, as well as underwriter’s, borrower’s, trustee’s and purchaser’s counsel. She has also worked extensively on 501(c)(3) transactions and pooled-loan and conduit financings, as well as providing Blue Sky review and document preparation. Laura has served as a Notary Public for more than 30 years.
