Katie Strickland approaches litigation with curiosity, precision, and a focus on results. She leverages hands-on courtroom experience and motion practice to develop clear, actionable strategies for complex disputes. 

Before joining Barnes & Thornburg, Katie gained hands-on litigation experience in the Prosecution Clinic, appearing in court under attorney supervision, drafting and arguing motions in circuit court, and handling case preparation tasks. She also served as a summer associate and summer law clerk at the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission in Washington, D.C. and was Articles Editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law, sharpening her research and writing skills.
