Joseph D. Lewis was a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Barnes & Thornburg. He managed the trademark practice and also concentrated in the areas of copyright and computer software in the Intellectual Property Department.
Joseph advised clients on virtually all aspects of trademark law: selection and adoption of new names, marks, and slogans; registering trademarks throughout the world; maintenance of trademark portfolios; licensing and enforcement actions. He advised clients throughout the life cycle of a trademark and assisted them in formulating national and international filings, enforcements, and anti-counterfeiting strategies.
