OVERVIEW

With over a decade of experience in conceptualizing and delivering robust audit and business strategies across a wide array of industries, Joseph DiGregorio calls upon his accounting background to assist clients and attorneys with unclaimed property and related needs.

An analytical thinker, Joseph has experience helping clients with complex issues surrounding unclaimed property, risk assessment, firm audit examinations, and other audit matters. Joseph also has experience leading firm audit engagements and advising management on implementing new processes, policies and system changes.

Before joining the firm, Joseph was a senior business adviser at a large retail chain with over 950 stores and a senior audit associate at a Big Four accounting firm. In this role, Joseph managed concurrent audits of financial, operational, strategic and information technology processes and controls. He performed risk assessment analysis to determine risks and opportunities, developed programs to test key operational and system controls within the business and served as a liaison between management and external auditors.

His knowledge and skill set as an unclaimed property professional comes from leading numerous multistate unclaimed property examinations simultaneously as a senior audit associate at a leading unclaimed property audit firm.

Joseph is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA).

Outside of work, Joseph enjoys spending time with family, coaching soccer and playing a game or two himself, even if he is half the player he was in his high school days.
