Jonathan Burns primarily advises fund clients, public and private companies, investment banks and other financial institutions on ongoing business operations and a range of corporate and contractual matters. Drawing on significant experience in capital markets and transaction work, he brings a practical, business-focused approach to matters relating to clients’ operations, investments and transactions.
Jonathan counsels clients on a broad range of agreements, including nondisclosure and confidentiality agreements, consulting agreements, engagement letters, vendor agreements, technology-related agreements, operating agreements and other operational, governance and transactional documentation. He also has substantial experience advising on capital markets and securities offerings, including debt, equity and equity-linked transactions, as well as related corporate and transactional matters.
Earlier in his career, Jonathan completed an in-house secondment at an investment bank focused on structured notes offerings within an equity derivatives practice.
