On a day-to-day basis, Jessica drafts patent applications and conducts patentability searches to learn what is already in existence and if a new technology is patentable. In her work as an IP technical analyst, she also assists in responding to patent prosecution actions.
While attending Purdue University Northwest, Jessica was a member of the women’s basketball team. That is where she learned and enhanced her multitasking skills. Professionally, she does the same when assisting clients with their patent-related needs, so the training was applicable for her in more ways than one.
Jessica aspires to attend law school and practice intellectual property law.
