Jeffrey S. Ballard brings over two decades of experience advising lenders, borrowers, issuers, credit enhancers, and underwriters on the structuring and negotiation of complex tax-exempt and taxable financings. His finance practice encompasses a broad range of industries and projects, including housing, healthcare, water resource, transportation, university, hotel, cultural, and general commercial facilities.
Jeff has served as bond counsel on hundreds of financings for public entities. He also has substantial securitization experience involving municipal bonds, auto receivables, commercial mortgages and leases, home improvement loans, and mutual fund fees. Jeff’s practice also involves representing major financial institutions with respect to all types of credit and liquidity facilities, as well as interest rate swaps, caps, and other derivative products in both the primary and secondary markets. He also has significant restructuring and workout experience.
