Jean Carlson offers a broad range of experience on legal issues affecting national security, including cross-border due diligence and classified and unclassified government investigations. Jean is passionate about collaborating on, developing and implementing controls to protect clients’ proprietary, controlled defense, privacy, and export information.

For more than 21 years, Jean has conducted export and import-related investigations, transaction due diligence, export and import licensing, country of origin analysis, compliance and regulatory interpretation. She has a strong ability to learn the business acumen needed to solve problems by exploring possibilities and breaking down complex issues to turn ambiguity into actionable solutions.
