Jack Spangler

Counsel
Jack Spangler represents institutional owners, developers, and investors in complex commercial real estate transactions. In advising clients across a broad range of asset classes — including student housing, multifamily, industrial, office, and retail — Jack delivers practical, deal-focused solutions that drive projects forward with confidence.

Jack primarily represents real estate sponsors, developers, and investors in negotiating and drafting transaction documents across the full deal lifecycle. Jack also advises on property-level diligence in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, and recapitalizations. He also counsels clients on the day-to-day legal management of their assets. He balances legal precision with business pragmatism to be a trusted resource for clients managing large portfolios, stabilized acquisitions, and ground-up developments.

Jack brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by his experience at an Atlanta-based Am Law 200 firm and as assistant general counsel to the country's leading student housing developer and owner/operator. These roles inform his responsive, solutions-oriented approach and allow him to deliver guidance that is both sophisticated in structure and operationally grounded.
