Isabelle Tekin is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group, focusing on private equity mergers and acquisitions and a broad range of debt finance transactions. She works closely with private equity sponsors and portfolio companies at every stage of the deal lifecycle, including add-on acquisitions and exit transactions. She also represents leading lending institutions and borrowers in sophisticated finance transactions spanning a wide range of industries.
Her debt finance experience encompasses complex credit facilities - including secured and unsecured revolving credit and term loan facilities – private credit transactions, acquisition financings, project finance, leveraged buyouts, restructurings, and other specialized financings.
Beyond her transactional work, Isabelle provides ongoing strategic legal guidance across a broad spectrum of corporate matters. Known for her ability to look around corners and anticipate client needs, she functions as a trusted advisor and an extension of clients' internal teams, offering proactive, commercially minded counsel that allows businesses to move quickly and confidently. She brings exceptional dedication and attention to detail to every engagement, and her clients rely on her as a responsive partner in achieving their business objectives.
While an evening law school student, Isabelle worked full-time as a legal assistant for an international law firm in its Washington, D.C., office. She leverages this experience to navigate the complex legal and business landscape with an agile, proactive, and service oriented approach. Isabelle also gained experience during law school through multiple externships with the U.S. Department of Justice in the Fraud Section and the Antitrust Division. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Chief Judge Margaret M. Mann of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California Bankruptcy Court
