Farrah’s clients include performing artists, songwriters, and producers. She negotiates recording, publishing, distribution, and asset purchase agreements with record labels, music publishers, and investors, addressing all associated contractual issues. Artists and entrepreneurs pursuing independent paths rely on her to develop business models built around creative control and sustainability.
Her practice extends into the live events sector, where she represents promoters, venues, creative directors, and festivals on all sides of the ecosystem. She also guides entertainment executives — including managers, agents, and company leaders — through career transitions and new business launches.
A recognized voice in music and entertainment law, Farrah speaks frequently on industry issues and serves as a guest lecturer at conferences and universities, including SXSW, AMERICANAFEST, Vanderbilt University, Indiana University, and Belmont University.
Outside of her practice, Farrah serves on the board of Girls Write Nashville, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through songwriting, mentorship, and inclusive community programs. She is also an avid outdoorswoman and mountaineer, a member of the American Alpine Club, and has climbed peaks on three continents.
