Devin represents developers, syndicators and investors in the acquisition, financing, and syndication of transactions that utilize federal and state low-income housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits and renewable energy tax credits.
He also represents business clients in connection with general corporate matters and securities compliance, including entity formation, organizational documentation, fund formation, mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Devin honed his real estate, tax credit and transactional skills while serving as counsel for one of the largest tax credit syndicators in the Southeast, outside counsel for a real estate brokerage company and counsel to a national telecommunications company.
