David J. Fernandez advises clients on complex capital markets, securities, and leveraged finance matters, with a strong focus on tax-exempt and taxable bond financings. He regularly serves as trustee, bond, borrower, disclosure, and underwriters counsel on a wide range of tax-exempt mutual bond transactions, including financings for civic facilities, industrial development projects, water and sewer systems, housing, transportation infrastructure, and hospital and health care facilities.
Before entering private practice, David served as Senior Assistant General Counsel for the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, one of the nation’s leading issuers of tax-exempt debt and as Counsel in the New York State Assembly.
