Chris Felts practiced in general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, economic development and international business law. He offered a unique combination of legal know-how and pragmatic business sense to large and small companies doing business in the domestic market, U.S. ventures doing business abroad, and foreign-owned companies seeking to invest and do business in the U.S.

Chris’s experience included corporate governance, drafting and interpreting contracts, buying and selling businesses, and women and minority business certification, as well as M&A. He helped his clients make use of available state and local economic development incentives.

Chris represented businesses of all sizes, ranging from small privately held local and national companies to larger multinational corporations with a global presence. Competent and resourceful, patient and approachable, Chris was appreciated by clients and colleagues alike for his ability to answer their domestic and international business law questions. Prior to the law, Chris enjoyed a thriving career in public service, serving in the office of Indiana Gov. Evan Bayh and for the Indiana Department of Commerce. His final post in state government was as deputy director of the International Trade Division of the Indiana Department of Commerce.

Having studied in Guadalajara and Barcelona and resided in Mexico City, Chris is fluent in Spanish, using his language skills with regularity for businesses involved in the Latin American market.
