Christian’s practice centers on commercial litigation, government and corporate investigations, and regulatory compliance matters. He represents individuals and business in complex litigations and advises those who are under scrutiny through government investigations, internal investigations, white collar investigations, government audits, regulatory compliance, and government ethics. He also represents clients in healthcare, defense, and other industries in civil and criminal enforcement matters and False Claims Act investigations.

In addition to advising clients on governmental ethics and lobbying compliance matters, Christian provides counsel and dispute resolution services containing public and political sensitivities, regularly representing clients which include Fortune 500 companies as well as private citizens and political figures involved in government inquiries.

Christian also has experience representing companies in large-scale internal investigations. He has conducted internal probes for colleges and universities, large privately held companies, and large-scale retailers involving allegations of potential violations of federal and state laws.

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, he served as an associate at an international law firm where he represented commercial entities in complex commercial litigation and counseled both businesses and individuals in government investigations.
