A partner in the firm’s Corporate Department, Brantley Hawkins focuses his practice on private funds and investment management. He advises fund sponsors, large institutional investors, and financial institutions on fund formation, regulatory compliance, and strategic investments, drawing on experience in both private practice and as in-house counsel at a leading hedge fund manager.
Brantley advises clients on the formation and operation of multimillion- and multibillion-dollar private investment funds. He also advises financial institutions, fund sponsors and other entities on exemptions under the Investment Company Act and the Investment Advisers Act.
