He is a member of the firm’s Office of General Counsel and is responsible for all aspects of new business intake from conflict checking and resolution through documentation of matter engagement. He also represents alcoholic beverage manufacturers in licensing, regulatory, and enforcement matters.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Brandon served in a similar position for an AmLaw 100 firm in Savannah, Georgia. He worked directly with firm general counsel on complex conflicts of interest, exposure of liability, and resolution.
Before working in Savannah, Brandon worked as Associate General Counsel for a Richmond, Virginia, firm. He also served as Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Scott County, Virginia.
Outside of the office, Brandon is an instructor in beer brewing professional certification programs where he teaches legal regulations and business best practices in the brewing industry. A former National Park Service Park Ranger, Brandon is a history buff who runs a walking tour company that was named Savannah’s Best Tour Guide by readers of a local periodical.
