Getting to spend two summers at Barnes & Thornburg was an invaluable experience. My 1L summer was spent building connections, learning the ropes of the firm, and exploring my interests through various client matters. My 2L summer built upon the first, and I was able to deepen my connections with associates and partners, narrow down my interests, and gain valuable working experience with complex assignments. Through mentorship opportunities, challenging but manageable assignments, and a carefully crafted summer program, Barnes & Thornburg set me up with the tools to find success at the firm.
