Ambreen Ahmad is committed to helping navigate a variety of complex issues, including general commercial litigation, product liability, and regulatory and internal investigations.
Ambreen assists clients in virtually all stages of litigation by drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and memoranda, conducting discovery, and researching legal questions. She has represented clients in several industries, and her practice includes work in commercial litigation, defending product liability claims, and regulatory and internal investigations. Ambreen also has experience advising debtors and creditors in insolvency proceedings and immigration clients in asylum cases. Ambreen also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Cristal C. Brisco of the Northern District of Indiana.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Ambreen was an attorney with a Chicago law firm and practiced in the area of insolvency and restructuring, while also gaining experience advising on a variety of corporate trust matters.
During law school, Ambreen was involved in the Global Human Rights Clinic at the University of Chicago Law School, where she designed trainings on strategic litigation and comparative foreign law.
Before attending law school, Ambreen worked in the immigration legal services field in Boston and New York.
