As bond counsel for cities, towns, counties, and commissions, Adam routinely works with clients on a wide range of tax-exempt and taxable bond issues by governmental entities, including tax increment, utility, revenue and general obligation bonds, and financings on behalf of school corporations.
With a particular emphasis on economic development and redevelopment initiatives, Adam advises clients on virtually all types of public projects, including the creative utilization of tax increment finance (TIF) and tax abatements to incentivize these projects. He also provides counsel on matters concerning municipal bonds and serves as general counsel to redevelopment commissions.
Adam is valued by clients and colleagues alike for his pragmatism and dedication to closing complex transactions in an efficient manner.
Within the Indianapolis community, Adam is a graduate of the Indiana Leadership Forum. He is also a frequent speaker on the issues of economic development, municipal finance, and TIF, in addition to annually co-authoring a TIF handbook to help Indiana's economic development and redevelopment community better understand the laws and terminology within public finance.
