Investing in Excellence: A Closer Look at the Benefits for Sponsors, Part 2

In the second installment of their three-part New Jersey Law Journal series, “Investing in Excellence: A Closer Look at the Benefits for Sponsors, Part 2,” partners Kate Stone and Michael Zogby explore the often-overlooked benefits sponsorship provides to sponsors and their organizations.
The authors highlight how intentional sponsorship not only accelerates protégés’ careers but also strengthens organizations by fostering talent pipelines, enhancing reputation, improving retention and advancing purpose-driven leadership.
“Sponsors have a unique opportunity to align their advocacy not only with promising talent, but with the initiatives that matter to them,” they wrote. “Whether it's nurturing innovation or strategically investing efforts in alignment with their personal values, sponsors may use their role to champion both the individuals and standards they hold.”
The article was co-authored with Scholastica Baker, senior counsel at McDonald’s Corporation.
