I AM...
- Born and raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. One of my passions is returning to spend time with my family and enjoying their delicious pasteles, alcapurrias and quesitos.
- From a family that manufactured coffee processing machinery, so coffee culture is in my blood
- Living with my family in Brooklyn in Little Haiti, a Caribbean melting pot. I love eating all kinds of West Indian foods and learning about the culture of my neighbors.
- Not extremely religious, but I grew up in a churchgoing family that taught me to respect and be kind to those around me
- Someone who’s engaged in many hobbies over time, such as knitting, crocheting, quilting, drawing, painting and woodworking
- A person who sang and played drums and guitar in a trio that performed around New York City
- A former fitness instructor, personal trainer and certified yoga instructor, but don’t ask me to touch my toes
- A fan of crossword puzzles and sudoku, and will labor on them for hours at a time
- A lover of dogs. We currently have a little corgi that does justice to the name of Joy.
- Someone whose favorite activity is rolling down the hills of a park with my family and our dog
