I AM...
- A native of Chicago who has had the chance to live on both coasts (D.C. and the Bay Area), as well as in Berlin, Germany
- A Stanford undergrad and Berkeley Law alum, and thus a walking school rivalry
- Partner to August and dog-dad to Berkeley, the goldendoodle (I won the coin toss)
- Fond of planning for, preparing, and hosting dinner parties with friends and family
- Taking advantage of the national treasure that is Lake Michigan and, in the past few years, learning how to sail
- A lover of non-fiction books and documentaries, and a begrudging consumer of fiction
- A piano player that, after a decade of lessons, can recite about three songs from memory (♫ Don’t Stop Believin’! ♫)
- A cyclist, either along Lake Michigan in good weather, or on the Peloton in bad
- A tinkerer by nature, always finding projects around the condo or attempting to fix something that’s broken
- The former drum major of my high school marching band
