Sara Wolf: Alumni Spotlight

Alumna Sara Wolf (Corporate, Los Angeles, 2019-2021) leads real estate development and legal strategy as a Vice President at Wendover Housing Partners, a privately held real estate company specializing in multi-family affordable, workforce, and student housing communities. She now thrives as an in-house leader, balancing her passion for affordable housing with family, travel, and her kids’ soccer games.
Barnes & Thornburg (BT): What originally brought you to Barnes & Thornburg? How would you describe your experience?
Sara: I came to Barnes & Thornburg primarily to help with venture law, along with general corporate work with Ryan Barncastle in the L. A. office. I had the best experience there and feel so lucky. I worked closely with a fellow associate, and we were a great team. We still talk about everything we learned from Ryan, Lee Kolodny, and others — the skills, camaraderie, and experiences we shared, and the challenging, high-profile deals we worked on together.
We were in the trenches together, and that bond made us grow as young attorneys. The mentors, community, and opportunities made it a testament to the firm.
