Barnes & Thornburg was recognized in the American Health Law Association's (AHLA’s) 2026 Top Honors. Additionally, John Kelly was named vice chair of the Advising Providers Planning Committee, while Jackie Papish was appointed chair of AHLA’s Hospitals and Health Systems Practice Group.

Kelly, partner and chair of the firm’s Healthcare Department and Industry practice, has held several leadership positions with the AHLA over the last 10 years, including serving as chair of the AHLA’s Healthcare Fraud and Compliance Forum. He is nationally recognized for his work in healthcare compliance, government investigations, and False Claims Act litigation.
Papish, a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, was previously vice chair of AHLA’s Hospitals and Health Systems Practice Group. She has long been regarded as a trusted advisor in the healthcare and life sciences industries, with extensive experience in regulatory compliance, government investigations, and litigation
