Barnes & Thornburg’s Minneapolis Office Recognized Among Minnesota Lawyer’s ‘In the Lead: Women-Led Law Firms 2026’

Minnesota Lawyer has recognized Barnes & Thornburg’s Minneapolis office, led by office managing partner Connie Lahn, as one of Minnesota’s best women-led law firms.
To be considered for the “In the Lead” recognition, a firm’s local office must have exhibited substantial legal success and a commitment to encourage women in and out of the firm, under the guidance of a strong woman leader. Minnesota Lawyer’s editorial team evaluates potential nominees by asking its readership for recommendations and reviewing news coverage, lists of award recipients, and other publicly available information about women-led law firms.
Lahn has led the Minneapolis office since being named office managing partner in 2015. Minnesota Lawyer highlights the firm’s parental leave and emergency childcare policies in addition to workplace environment recognitions from a variety of sources.
Barnes & Thornburg is a full-service national law firm with 26 offices across the country, committed to positioning all talent to win regardless of background — individually, collectively, for our clients and the communities we serve.
