Barnes & Thornburg Adds Kathryn Cobb as Partner in Chicago, Strengthening Associations and Nonprofits Practice

Former chief legal officer brings in-house perspective to advise associations and public charities

Barnes & Thornburg announced today the arrival of Kathryn Cobb in its Chicago office as a partner in the firm’s Associations and Nonprofits practice. The move further expands the firm’s Chicago office following the addition last month of corporate partner Elizabeth Davis.

Cobb brings extensive experience in advising trade and professional associations as well as public charities on a wide range of legal and operational matters. She regularly serves as outside general counsel to her clients, supporting leadership teams across issues including corporate governance, compliance, employment, fundraising, intellectual property and risk management.
