Barnes & Thornburg Advises OIA Global in Acquisition of Cargo Services, Inc.
Barnes & Thornburg represented logistics provider OIA Global in the acquisition of Cargo Services Inc. (CSI), an international freight forwarding and customs brokerage firm based in Indianapolis.
OIA Global, headquartered in Portland, Oregon, announced the deal on April 7, 2026, saying the transaction would expand the company’s freight forwarding and customs brokerage capabilities in the Midwest. The acquisition gives OIA Global a direct presence in “one of the most connected logistics cities in the United States,” supporting its strategy to build its own network in key domestic markets.
