Barnes & Thornburg Adds Corporate Partner Laurian Cristea

NEW YORK, RALEIGH — Barnes & Thornburg announced today the addition of Laurian Cristea to the firm’s New York and Raleigh offices as a partner in the Corporate Department. Cristea’s addition closely follows that of Corporate partner, M. Shams Billah, in July.

With over a decade of experience, Cristea advises clients on a range of financial services regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters. His counsel encompasses day-to-day compliance programs, governance, member and participant issues, product development and design, regulatory inquiries and audits, system safeguards and security, technology and connectivity, and the changing cryptocurrency landscape.
