Barnes & Thornburg Elects New Management Committee

Barnes & Thornburg has announced today its 2022-2023 Management Committee consisting of members from throughout the firm’s national footprint. 

In a previously announced succession plan, Andrew J. Detherage was named the new firm managing partner and chair of the Management Committee, taking over for Robert T. Grand, who will continue to practice government services and finance as a partner in the firm. 

Melissa A. Vallone of the Chicago office has been elected vice chair and David C. Allen of the Los Angeles office has been elected secretary. In addition, the partnership elected Curt W. Hidde of the Indianapolis office as a new at-large member.

Allen, who was named an at-large member, was the managing partner of the Los Angeles office and has handed over that responsibility to Kevin D. Rising. Victor D. Vital has been named managing partner of the firm’s Dallas office; he and Rising join the Management Committee.
