It's a Slam Dunk! Barnes & Thornburg Proudly Supports Brackets For Good 2018

With a mission of having a positive and ongoing impact on the communities where we live and work, Barnes & Thornburg is proud to be a 2018 Brackets for Good community partner. We are excited about the opportunity to help empower local charitable organizations in our communities.

In the month of March, Barnes & Thornburg will partner with Brackets for Good in four of our regions, Atlanta, Dallas, Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, to bring much needed awareness and funds to nonprofits in our communities. Brackets for Good helps build awareness, raise funds, and expand marketing capacity for local nonprofits through competitive, online fundraising tournaments. The tournament begins with 64 local charities, each paired in a competitive match-up against an opponent. Charities advance through the rounds by scoring more points than their opponent. Every $1 donated through bfg.org equals one point scored for the chosen charity. At the end of each round, the nonprofit with the most points in the individual match-up advances to the next round, the points are reset, and the fundraising continues until a champion is crowned.

You can learn more about each of the participating nonprofits competing for their chance to win a $10,000 grant by visiting the following sites:

About Brackets for Good
Brackets For Good is an online bracket-style tournament that helps nonprofits gain awareness and raise funds. Participating nonprofits rally donors to out-fundraise their opponents. $1 donated online equals 1 point. The organization with the most points in their match-up at the end of each round advances in the tournament. The organization that advances to the end is awarded a $10,000 championship grant. Organizations participate for free and keep donations, no matter how many rounds they advance.
