Indiana University's Center for Civic Literacy - "Connecting the Dots: Assessing the Impact of Civic Literacy Gaps on Democracy, the Economy and Society While Charting a Path Forward"

Bill Moreau of the Indianapolis office was the co-chair of the Indiana University's Center for Civic Literacy's national conference, "Connecting the Dots: Assessing the Impact of Civic Literacy Gaps on Democracy, the Economy and Society While Charting a Path Forward," in Indianapolis on Aug. 22-24. Bill is a member of the National Advisory Committee for the organization. Bill also delivered a presentation on "A Civic Literacy Success Story: The Debate Over Indiana's Proposed Constitutional Amendment on Marriage," during which he provided a legislative history of Indiana's marriage laws and the efforts to amend the Indiana Constitution. The firm hosted the conference's welcome reception.
