Wastewater Risks from PFAS and Other Emerging Contaminants

Charlie Denton and Rich Glaze presented at the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) Spring Conference and Industrial Symposium in Dalton, Georgia. Charlie’s presentation was “Wastewater Risks from PFAS and Other Emerging Contaminants,” which discussed current and potential risks for water and wastewater operators from emerging contaminants, including PFAS, microplastics and 1,4 dioxane. Rich’s presentation was “Why Compliance with Water Laws Matters – Enforcement Issues for Wastewater Treatment,” which discussed enforcement risks for wastewater operators and trends in enforcement under the Biden administration.
