The Right Balance: Utility Rates and Aging Infrastructure

Kim Blanchet was a panelist for a session at the Indiana Conference of Mayors Annual Conference. The session was “The Right Balance: Utility Rates and Aging Infrastructure” and discussed how deferred maintenance and stagnate utility rates have led to communities receiving mandates from federal and state agencies and face a need to substantially increase rates while constituents are still recovering from the effects of a global pandemic.
