The Customs and International Trade Bar Association’s Inaugural Watson Moot Court Competition

Michelle Rosario and Yusra Siddique office competed head to head via oral arguments in the Customs and International Trade Bar Association’s (CITBA) Inaugural Watson Moot Court Competition to simulate the highly controversial 2003 tariff classification case Toy Biz v. United States. CITBA selected Michelle and Yusra as lead counsel on opposing sides of the case, and each was tasked with leading a team of law students in preparation for oral argument. Yusra’s presentation of the government’s arguments earned her the win for best attorney advocate in the moot.
