Michiana HR Day of Development Conference
Thursday, September 18, 2025
8 a.m - 4 p.m. (Eastern)

The team will present the following legal update seminar and panel discussion:
2025 Employment Law Developments: Practical Steps for Managing Emerging Risks and Opportunities
To remain effective, Human Resource professionals must understand how ever-changing employment laws impact the workplace. Staying abreast of legal developments allows HR to manage new risks and take advantage of new opportunities. However, often the onslaught of legal developments outpaces HR departments' capacity, given the many other demands on their time.
During this two-hour seminar, we will update you on the impact of legal developments and provide practical steps and tools to manage:
- Recent immigration executive actions and ICE's increased worksite enforcement
- Recent DEI executive actions and enforcement efforts
- Evolving workplace accommodation requirements;
- Increased pressure to cut labor costs through ERIPs, layoffs and other measures
- Other employment law developments
The team will distill these developments into simple, understandable summaries and provide practical steps for your HR teams to take to address each new risk or opportunity.
