Japan External Trade Organization Osaka Seminar

On March 20, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Osaka, the U. S. Consulate and the Osaka Chamber of Commerce hosted a seminar for the Japanese business community in Osaka. Mari Regnier of the Chicago office spoke about various area of law related to starting and operating business in the U. S. such as corporate, immigration, M&A, employment among others. Guest speakers included Mr. Ichiro Sone, Executive Director of JETRO Osaka, and Yuko Nakaoka from Select USA. The panelists included executives from PMP Fermentation Products, Inc and Yamazen Corporation. These executives added great comments on the firm’s depth of practice including our international trade group’s most recent victory of antidumping case.
