Andrew Young and Eric Beste gave a CLE presentation, “Internal Investigation: The Prosecutor’s Perspective.” The CLE detailed best practices for conducting international investigations with a focus on the intersection of new technologies (such as encryption messaging systems, cryptocurrency, and social media) with the ethical and legal limitations on corporate counsel charged with ensuring compliance and investigating internal malfeasance.
