Intellectual property is highly valuable to business, and IP disputes are potentially very expensive to litigate. With the high economic stakes, it is no surprise that intellectual property law and insurance coverage law intersect in important ways.

Join Barnes & Thornburg’s Intellectual Property and Insurance Recovery teams for a 90-minute CLE that addresses the scope of coverage that may be available for alleged IP violations under traditional commercial general liability, directors and officers (D&O) and errors and omissions (E&O) policies, as well as specialized IP defense and media liability policies. The CLE will also offer pointers regarding best practices for spotting insurance coverage issues in IP matters, including evaluating the potential for coverage of an IP lawsuit and issues inherent in corporate mergers or acquisitions that have a significant IP component.
