This program examines the ethical, professional, and risk management issues arising from the use of generative AI in legal practice and law firm operations. Topics include competence, confidentiality, privilege, supervision, verification of AI-generated content, data integrity, client information protection, and compliance with firm policies. Participants will review practical governance tools, including the firm's generative AI policy, and explore emerging regulatory and professional guidance affecting the responsible use of AI across the legal industry.
