Design-Build Contract: Pros and Cons

Partner John Smolen will present at the Design-Build Institute of America Indiana Chapter’s “Design-Build Contract: Pros and Cons,” a discussion on the advantages, challenges, and considerations of design-build contracting.

The session will explore progressive design-build (PDB) and construction manager/general contractor (CMGC) delivery frameworks, highlighting how these alternative delivery methods differ from traditional design-bid-build by engaging contractors earlier in the project lifecycle. Smolen will also address the continued evolution of PDB and CMGC frameworks, as well as broader trends in infrastructure project delivery.
