Avoid Being Collateral Damage – How to Manage The Business Risks of War and International Conflict

Christine Sohar Henter presented at the 2023 World Technology Law Conference hosted by the International Technology Law Association in Toronto, Canada. Christine represented the U.S. trade legal perspective on a panel discussion about how businesses can “Avoid Being Collateral Damage – How to Manage The Business Risks of War and International Conflict.” The panelists reviewed recent U.S. sanctions on Russia, export controls on technology and software, and direct investment of Chinese and Russian transactions and supply chain concerns, including new human rights and forced labor laws for imports into the U.S. Over 500 member technology companies, primarily from Europe and North America, attended.
