Attorney Presentation - “All Sums vs. Pro Rata – An Insider’s Guide to a Hotly Disputed Issue.”

Ken Gorenberg of the Chicago office presented at the AIDA Reinsurance and Insurance Arbitration Society (ARIAS•U.S.) fall conference in New York on Nov. 2-3. ARIAS•U.S. is a dispute resolution body focused on insurance and reinsurance. Ken was the lone policyholder representative on a panel entitled “All Sums vs. Pro Rata – An Insider’s Guide to a Hotly Disputed Issue.” This topic concerns how long-tail losses like environmental property damage and toxic exposure bodily injury claims are allocated in a policyholder’s historical insurance coverage program spanning multiple years.
