Association Foundation Group 2019 National Conference

Teresa Jakubowski of the Washington, D.C., office delivered the closing keynote address at the Association Foundation Group’s 2019 National Conference on May 15 in Washington, D.C. Teresa’s address covered requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act in planning fundraisers and other special events. Topics addressed included reasonable modifications, auxiliary aids and services, facility access, and digital accessibility. Teresa was pinch-hitting for Paula Goedert of the Washington, D.C., office, who had an unexpected client conflict. The Association Foundation Group is the only organization in the country dedicated to association fundraising and foundation professionals.
